How does Mists of Pandaria fare?

World of Warcraft has been top dog in the MMO space for a good long while. Each expansion brings renewed hope that it will continue to sit atop the heap. How does Mists of Pandaria fare? Find out in our official review then leave us your thoughts in the comments.

In the meantime, we have Mists of Pandaria. Mists was a tough journey in the beginning but became a much more fun experience as I went through the content and worked my way up. For me, Mists is an excellent Worl d of Warcraft expansion. However, in terms of MMOs in general it does not bring the thunder that a WoW expansion used too. If you are a veteran WoW player than Mists has a lot to offer in terms of game play and especially content. If you are a hardened MMO vet looking for something new this is not the game for you any more. Let’s go through the stages and get this final score underway.

Despite the strength of their newfound allies, Malfurion and his colleagues realized that the Legion could not be defeated by martial strength alone. As the titanic battle raged around Azshara’s capital city, the delusional queen waited in anticipation for Sargeras’ arrival. The lord of the Legion was preparing to pass through the Well of Eternity and enter the ravaged world. As his impossibly huge shadow drew ever closer to the raging surface, Azshara gathered the most powerful of her Highborne followers. Only by linking their magics together in one focused spell would they be able to create a gateway large enough for Sargeras to enter.

Conquer Online : Dawn of a New War Announced

Fans of Conquer Online will want to check out the new announcement that Dawn of War will be arriving soon. DoW comes packed with new content and also addresses several areas of concern from players, most notably class balance.
The TQ team is caring and listening to the voices from the players in the community and determined to make the game more balanced, and bring more special features to each class with this new content-rich update. At this point, there is a great deal of veterans scrambling their way back and continuing their adventurous journey.

Helping out is actually pretty common in the Guild Wars 2 community.  Sure, we have a good laugh but by helping out new players we may be helping create a great player.  The best way to help a new player is to answer their questions, even if it reminds you of the noob you used to be.  All it takes is a few moment to answer a question.  Someone’s asking how to craft, give them some info.  Someone’s asking where a certain NPC is, let them know.  Don’t just tell them to type in /dance, even though that response is very hilarious.  I’ve even seen players take that advice.  If you think it would help, send them over to the wiki pages.  Anything is better than nothing. The gameplay is simple and to the point. One team fights against another in either team death match or “plant the bomb” game modes. As is usually the case with realistic first person shooters, head shots are near instant kills, whereas body and limb shots are significantly less lethal. Movement decreases the accuracy of the player’s weapon, as does sustained fire, which gives the combat a level of tactical nuance commonly found in modern shooters today. However, two things that I found to be curiously absent were weapon iron sights, as well as the ability to either sprint or bunny hop in any shape or form. With that aside, pretty much anything you’d expect to see from a standard shooter, you’ll see in 9mm Online.

Along with a myriad of other enhancements

Some PvPers will be content with doing just that – fighting other players scenario after scenario ad infinitum, while others will be in it for the rewards.  Guild Wars 2 employs a two-tiered reward system that most players will recognize: as you participate in sPvP scenarios, you gain “glory” – basically PvP XP – which is then represented by your “rank” – which you can think of as PvP levels.  You can then spend glory to purchase rewards, which are unlocked based on your rank.  These rewards include chests that contain random loot, like weapons, dyes, bags, glory buffs, tournament tickets, and other goodies, as well as tokens that you can use at the Mystic Forge to craft items.  It’s difficult to ascertain exactly how these rewards stack up to other high-level items earned from Guild Wars 2′s dungeons and crafting, but at the very least, they seem to be stable for the moment, unlike the game’s PvE rewards.

Of course, your sPvP rewards will be a bit more enticing if you choose to participate in Guild Wars 2′s organized tournaments, which were introduced post-launch.  Instead of just hotjoining scenarios to play along with a bunch of randos, you can put a team together and participate in 5v5 free and paid tournaments for heftier loot and bragging rights.  You can jump into 3-round, single-elimination, 8-team tournaments at any time, or, eventually, build up your reputation to qualify for monthly and yearly competitions.  Winning a free competition will net you glory, rank points, a tournament chest, and a tournament ticket – the last of which is required to enter paid tournaments (you can also purchase tickets from the in-game Black Lion Trading Company in packs of 5 and 30 for 75 and 360 gems, respectively).  Achieving first place in a paid tournament will reward you with glory, rank points, gems, qualifying points, and a tournament chest, although you’re sure to get at least one chest for participating, regardless of your team’s place in the competition.

Along with a myriad of other enhancements to traditional MMO systems like combat and crafting, can require a bit of a learning curve for players who have cut their teeth on the traditional MMORPG model.  The basic elements of the game – WASD movement, talking to NPCs, fighting monsters – will be familiar to most, but understanding how ArenaNet wants you to play the game requires a bit of a paradigm shift.  If you’re continuously trying to find the next NPC questgiver while settling into a static skill rotation as you grind mobs, you’re probably not liking the game very much.  Guild Wars 2 requires, and in some cases, demands that you put aside your usual method of tackling PvE content and instead participate in regional events and explore Tyria to gain XP and rewards.

To be powerful in game with WOW Gold

Capital cities and areas with regularly high populations will not be set as cross-server areas/zones so you will not be able to enter into the same instance of a city as someone who is from a different realm. Trading restrictions are in place much the same as they are in cross-realm dungeons, raids, and battlegrounds. Group looting will function the same as it would with any group you would create through normal play. You’ll be able to interact with players from within a select pool of realms which will make it possible to run into a player in Red ridge that you already ran into within Westfall. This can vary from realm to realm and relies on how densely populated (or under populated) an area is. Capital cities and areas with regularly high populations will not be eligible for area sharing.

Resources and nodes will be available to all parties within the shared area the same as always. We will be keeping a close eye on the impact of area sharing and should an area become too populated, we are capable of adjusting how many realms are able to connect to a shared area. When any player access an Auction House, they will be only able to access their home realm’s Auction House. With this technology, we can also flag zones to allow for more than one copy of that zone per realm. Players on that realm will be split among those copies in order to alleviate problems due to overpopulation. Players won’t normally see or interact with those on a different instance of their zone, although joining a party will relocate all party members to a single instance of that zone.

Guild Wars 2 : The Best Silly MomentsGuild Wars 2 : The Best Silly Moments

Saving the world is serious business but even that fact doesn’t preclude moments of laughter and amusement. In last weekend’s beta event, we ferreted out some humorous moments in Guild Wars 2. Read on!
Well I had a great weekend playing yet another Guild Wars 2 Beta.  The best part about these beta events is that we get to play with ArenaNet developers, who take the time out of their very busy schedule to show us around Tyria, and just generally chat it up. It’s a good time.  While having some fun conversations with developers I was pointed towards some of the more humorous aspects of the game.  It was just a friendly little reminder that we need to sit back and just have fun.  So I want to go through some of my favorite silly moments that I encountered during my beta adventures, and since I can’t do it in the form of song and dance, I’ll just use words and sketches.

Introduction on World of Warcraft: human

Recent discoveries have shown that humans are descended from the barbaric vrykul, half-giant warriors who live in Northrend. Early humans were primarily a scattered and tribal people for several millennia, until the rising strength of the troll empire forced their strategic unification. Thus the nation of Arathor was formed, along with its capital, the city-state of Strom. After several centuries of peace, however, the increasingly prosperous and independent city-states of Arathor split into separate kingdoms: Gilneas to the west, Alterac, Dalaran, and Lordaeron to the northwest, Kul Tiras to the southwest, and Stormwind to the far south. Strom itself was renamed Stromgarde and remained a significantly powerful kingdom.

But disaster struck when the orc Horde appeared on Azeroth, reducing Storm wind to ruins during the First War between orcs and humans. The city’s survivors, including the young prince, Varian Wrynn, fled to Lordaeron, where the leaders of the seven kingdoms resolved to unify once again in the Alliance of Lordaeron. Joined together, they succeeded in defeating the Horde during the Second War. Tensions grew among the kingdoms, however, as the costs for maintaining theAlliancerose much higher than originally anticipated. Unwilling to pay the taxes, the leaders of Gilneas and Stromgarde chose to withdraw their kingdoms from theAlliance.

Since the fall of Lordaeron, thekingdomofStormwindhas become the strongest bastion of humanity and the most powerful force in the now multiracialAlliance. Led by King Varian Wrynn, the people of Stormwind hold fast to the principles of honor and justice as they defend their settlements and their families. Though humans are among the younger races on Azeroth, they have faced many challenges with fortitude and resilience. While questing, you may have noticed yourself gaining reputation with some of Cataclysm’s new factions. Farm wow gold will take most of your time, you will have little time to enjoy the game. On the condition that you do not have enough World of Warcraft gold, you can buy wow gold, thus it can save you plenty of time, also, our website provide cheap World of Warcraft gold with cheap price can save your money.

We have one other new

We have one other new system that will use part of the personal loot model. This is what we’re calling the bonus roll. Once upon a time, raiders had to invest a lot of time and effort every week preparing for a raid. This felt kind of cool in the abstract because it built anticipation, rewarded players who prepared for raid night, and otherwise just added a little more ceremony to the act of entering the dragon’s lair to seek glory and treasure. The reality is that you spent your time killing mobs to farm flask materials or gathering Whipper Root Tubers. The reality didn’t match the fantasy and we eventually greatly minimized the need to farm consumables altogether. Of course, that led to another problem, as raiders would log on for raid nights, finish, and then have nothing to do the rest of the week.

The bonus roll is intended to give those players something to do that is hopefully more enjoyable than grinding elementals or Blasted Lands boars. We want to see players out in the world doing stuff, and we want that stuff to be a little more interesting (if not downright fun) than farming mats. The way it works is like this: We have two major Pandaren factions, the Elders and the Craftsmen. Completing daily quests and scenarios for each group earns you one of two currencies. The Craftsmen tokens are spent mostly on cosmetic items. The Elder tokens are spent mostly on power items. The intent here is to let players who want some optional content to be able to devote time to both Craftsmen and Elders, while more min-max focused players or players who don’t want such a time commitment can stick to Elders.

The Elder tokens can be used to purchase head enchants, some nice purplePer-person loot and the bonus roll in action items, and the kind of gear you’ve come to expect from factions. However, they also sell an item called a Charm of Good Fortune. Imagine you can complete a quest once a week to buy one Charm for 25 Elder Tokens. You also might be able to save up a few charms, but you won’t be able to hoard them until the next tier of content.
